US Army: Korea Billy Lynn (Bo) Pettit was born February 19, 1932 in Celina, Texas. He served his nation in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bo and his wife Jerry owned and operated Pettit’s Grocery Store in Whitewright for 50 years. Bo was active in his community. He was a member of the Rotary Club, American Legion, VFW, Volunteer Fire Department and the Whitewright Chamber of Commerce.
